Grimes is auctioning off two 2021 Achieved Gala parts to gain Ukrainian refugees.
The artwork-pop musician declared on her Instagram on Monday that her Dune-inspired metal experience mask and matching elf ears would be marketed at an auction on Artsy.
Grimes, authentic title Claire Boucher, wore the glance to previous year’s Met Gala, pairing the silver extras with an Iris van Herpen silk gown and medieval-type sword.
Bidding for the things, valued at close to $2,700 (£2,160) entirely, closes on 26 May.
The Chris Habana-designed experience covering is estimated to be worth $1,200 (£960), though the ear cuffs by Sofia Pavlova are value approximately $1,500 (£1,200).
Grimes’ Fulfilled Gala memorabilia have been highlighted in an show at the HVW8 Artwork + Style and design Gallery in Los Angeles, which credits the items with embodying “resistance” as her sword was made from a melted-down AR-15 assault rifle.
All proceeds from the auction will go to Diaspora Aid and Razom – with money furnishing emergency reaction, meals, shelter and evacuation assist in Ukraine and at the Polish border subsequent the invasion of Russian forces previously this year.
