In a new interview with Folks, Bassett opened up about what led to his hospitalization, suggesting that strain from the overall response to “Driver’s License” contributed to his problem.

Joshua says that he started off emotion very seriously sick the week right before his hospitalization as a result of the tension he felt from on the net chatter surrounding “Driver’s License.”

“I was sleeping 16 to 20 hours a day,” he reported soon after noting that he was feeling worse “each and every day.” “I couldn’t even stand up for more time than 30 seconds.”

Virtually a week after “Driver’s License” dropped, Bassett’s single “Lie Lie Lie” was produced — and his issue noticeably worsened.

“I felt my coronary heart actually failing,” he recalled. “I was like, ‘This is not just nervousness. This is poor.’”

“The physicians were being like, ‘If you hadn’t checked in in just 12 several hours, you would have died in your condominium,'” he mentioned. “It truly is wild that I was this near to taking a different nap.”
