The Match a short while ago claimed that 50 Cent and Jimmy Iovine paid out him $1 Million to stop saying ‘G-Unot’ for the duration of his feud with the hip-hop mogul.
The Match not too long ago appeared on Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s All the Smoke podcast, which premiered final Friday (May perhaps 27) on YouTube, and briefly reminisced about his previous feud with 50 Cent and G-Unit. The Compton, Calif. rhymer unveiled that he was paid $1 million to halt expressing “G-Unot” since it was diminishing revenue of Fif’s apparel line G-Device apparel.
“Lotta people today never know this, [but] 50 and Jimmy Iovine gave me $1 million to halt indicating G-Unot,” he recalled throughout the job interview. “They wrote me a check out, they acquired it. I experienced to trademark the G-Unot. And you keep in mind when I was going about with the rat and accomplishing all that shit, that shit hurt–killed G-Device.”
“You stopped looking at the sweet- tank tops and all that shit. All that, the full G-Unit/Mark Ecko, the shoes, that shit died,” he ongoing. “That shit was a hot commodity at when, G-Unit garments. Niggas was carrying the sweats, headbands, the masks, almost everything. That shit died, bro. So they had to pay out me. I need to have asked for extra but them niggas gave me a million. But I’m a hood nigga, a million pounds to stop saying this word? Where’s the check out? They wrote the test and I stopped expressing it.”
For those who are unfamiliar, The Game’s feud with 50 Cent began soon after he was kicked out of the team in March of 2005. Angered by the disloyalty from G-Unit, Recreation launched a boycott campaign referred to as “G-Unot.” From there, The Documentary rhymer and 50 would trade around a dozen diss tracks at every single other and concern a slew of on-line threats. There have been some moments exactly where it appeared The Video game and Fif have squashed their beef, but no official truce has been declared in their long-simmering feud that has lasted nearly two many years.
