Today, Savannah Music Festival shared the details for their 17-day celebration in Savannah, Ga., from March 23 through April 8, 2023. The extensive and eclectic lineup includes performances by Tedeschi Trucks Band, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Buddy Guy, Galactic, and many more.

The Hostess City of the South’s celebration marks the 34th iteration of the festival, which is known for its welcoming of an array of genres from across the country and the world. Over the 17 days, several venues will host events, including, Trustees’ Garden, Trinity Unity Methodist Church, the Lucas Theatre for the Arts and more. It’s notable that Buddy Guy’s performance will be part of his Damn Right Farewell tour and feature Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Eric Gales, King Solomon Hicks, and Jontavious Willis.

Along with the aforementioned artists, Savannah Music Festival will also welcome Los Lobos, Leo Kottke, Stanton Moore, Cory Wong, the Charles McPherson Quintet feat. Sean Jones, Pasquale Grasso Trio, Sam Bush, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Nate Smith and more.

“Our 34th season expands upon what our organization has always championed, creating a compelling musical experience of global scope within Savannah’s Historic District,” Savannah Music Festival Artistic Director Ryan McMaken said in a statement. “We welcome audiences and artists into our creative community to enjoy stellar performances in intimate, historic indoor venues as well as expansive outdoor spaces.”

It’s notable that some special collaborations are planned over the multi-week celebration, including Bush joining forces with Jerry Douglas to pay a set in honor of the late John Hartford, and ngoni player Bassekou Kouyate will perform with Jake Blount and Regina Carter for Phrase of Air a multimedia performance shining a light on the negative impact of urban renewal in the ’50s and ’60s.

General onsale tickets for many individual concerts will become available for purchase on Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. ET. A pre-sale is currently underway. Find tickets and learn more here.
